Seismic Instruments - Rentals

Lithogen has partnered with Guideline Geo ABEM and MoHo to offer our clients across North America state-of-the-art resistivity and induced polarization instruments for rent and sale.

Seismic methods measure the velocity, reflection, and refraction properties of seismic waves as they propagate through the Earth to determine a picture of the subsurface composition and structure. Seismographs can measure seismic waves generated by the operator using hammering, weight-drop, or explosives, as well as environmental seismic waves generated by nearby construction or Earth movements. This method is used extensively in applications such as bedrock and structure mapping, non-destructive testing, geotechnical monitoring and investigations.
