The Geonics EM34-3XL ground conductivity meter is a fast, easy-to-operate, and cost-effective instrument ideal for a variety of engineering, geological, and hydrogeological uses. Incorporating three inter-coil spacings of 10, 20, and 40 meters, the instrument provides a depth of exploration of up to 60 meters. The 3XL model also offers an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio, which significantly improves its performance in noisy environments.

Dataloggers (and the optional GPS units) contain lithium ion batteries. If shipping by air, the appropriate info is: UN3481 lithium ion batteries packed with equipment (packing instruction PI967), cells below 20 Wh, battery packs below 100 Wh. If the equipment is shipped with a datalogger or GPS, it will ship with the UN3481 sticker on the case.
